We have had really good luck with our SR22 as well! I do like the M&P 22 though too.

I've got one. I love it. Not picky on ammo at all.

I had a couple of Walther P22s that I really liked. They could be picky with ammo. I love the Ruger and it will shoot anything.

I saw a response from Ruger on their facebook page to someone else who asked about this saying that would not be an option, so I thought it was a lost cause.

P.S. I love mine, btw. It's a crimson trace TALO edition.

I really miss my pre-Smith Carl Walther P-22... It was a great gun... But I'm in love with my SR-22P. Murican made, heck yeah!

I have a Ruger SR22. Great little pistol! I let my brother shoot it and he wanted to buy it right then and there. I got a great deal on it too at $285.

I just pick up a NIB gun a friend of mine bought. He did not shoot it any, and as soon as the threaded barrel model came out, he got that.
I like it a lot so far, but I still taken it out to try yet. I am going to upgrade it to the threaded barrel some day soon. It seems a bit easier to take apart then the P-22.

But I still like them both.
