I have a friend who inherited a pair of S&W cuffs without a key. They belonged to his Dad who was a State Trooper in Texas. Is it possible for him to purchase a key and if so, are there more than 1 pattern for the key and where could he get one?
Any locksmith should have a key for those. Or any police supply store, I'm not sure if they sell to the general public though.

Yeah they should be a universal handcuff key. I have a set myself.
Any key should work. Heck you can use a paper clip.
