i bought a S&W .357 model 19-5 for $200.It is nickel or chrome. There is nothing wrong with the firearm works great. Can some one tell me if i did a bad deal or how much it is worth?
i tried to add a pic but it told me the file was to big

Date appox. 1982, not pinned or recessed, and cylinder lengthened to 1.62". As stated above, it should show an N on the back of the cylinder, and one on the grip frame. Trigger, hammer, and extractor star should not be nickled. Hammer and trigger should be case hardened, and the star blued.

a model 19 for $200 is a good deal even if it is just a shooter, if it is in good cosmetic shape then it is a great deal and if it is in origonal condition you stole it.
