I just picked up the Standard Catalog (3rd Edition) and was trying to look up Serial prefixes on my revolvers to figure out their age. I found the age of my M64-1 but I couldn't find the prefixes of my M586M, M65-4 and my M681M.
The M65 has the "BHB" prefix, the M691 has "AAD" but I couldn't find them in my book. The M586 has a prefix of AJK, which was also oddly absent from the catalog.
Does anyone here have any familiarity with these prefixes or maybe at least an idea why they aren't listed in the catalog?
