Man, I thought me and @adamsredlines were friends, but I go to look up a pic of my want-to-buy-it rifle to post and there he is already shooting it! Must have been helping those folks over in Iowa by going after all those nasty field mice they have.

We have a guy at the gun range that wants to shoot a 20mm rifle.
A .50BMG will penetrate 5' of earth. I'm thinking the 20 mm would easily double that, but the berms are 30' thick at the base, so no issue.

There was a story floating around Stillwater a few years ago about a guy that shot a .50 at the local ROTC range. Supposedly went through the berm, travelled two miles, went through a portable building wall and lodged in the back of a chair someone had just been sitting in. I do NOT know it is true or not but the ROTC range was closed immediately.
