According to the recently former manager, it is no more. A guy that makes and sells custom 1911 grips out of exotic woods was in the store and mentioned that he had a significant number of grips at Savage on consignment and hadn't been able to get by there recently to pick them up. I made an inquiry that confirmed that they were closing and hopefully put the guy in touch with someone who can get his grips back.
Yeah and then they tried gouging on top of their already high prices. Dakil can keep the stuff and their buyers premium. Sad to see them go but their business model and prices of late sucked.
