I ordered the Vortex Crossfire II 2-7x32 and QR mount. It is highly reviewed and I can still afford to run it on an XS rail with ghost rings, and the same (or Skinners) without a scope on my 1894 45 Colt. Cause in the end, a lever is too ‘Cowboy’ to not have at least one without a scope, but I’m still not a good enough shot with open sights to go straight iron. Hell I can’t even hit a sparrow from my tree, at 15 yards!
