Today, May 23, 2023, is the 80th Anniversary of the commissioning of the USS New Jersey, and the Battleship New Jersey Museum did a quick video on belaying lines.

I toured the New Jersey in 2016. Had to pry my buddy out of the radar room. We were on the ship until it closed. If he could have found a place to hide he would probably still be on the thing.
