Just saw this crap too and was about to post about it. Only thing positive about it if forced to find something positive is it was a party-line vote which supposedly means it's looking at a fight to get through the full Senate.

Republicans wont vote for it and red state Democrats can't vote for it. Basically, its all for show at this point(the left trying to maintain support from the anti voters).

Senate Judiciary Committee. Anybody on that committee *will* toe the party line. Of course it was gonna pass out of committee.
