Obama is causing panic and unrest with his malicous statements about the sequester. Basically its the end of the world because of the republicans. However, read what he had to say back after the October 2012 debate.

After the Des Moines Register called President Obama out for not allowing the transcript of his interview with them to be made public he caved in and now you can read it online. He probably didn’t want independent and undecided voters to read this.

October 26, 2012:

In the short term, the good news is that there’s going to be a forcing mechanism to deal with what is the central ideological argument in Washington right now, and that is: How much government do we have and how do we pay for it?

So when you combine the Bush tax cuts expiring, the sequester in place, the commitment of both myself and my opponent - at least Governor Romney claims that he wants to reduce the deficit - but we’re going to be in a position where I believe in the first six months we are going to solve that big piece of business.

It will probably be messy. It won’t be pleasant.

That’s his plan. Tax increases for everyone and the sequester will happen.

I can't tell you the amount of people I know who were supporters of Obama and have now flipped and are fed up with all this nonsense.

He is the President and is supposed to fix the problems and lead this country... ALL of this country.

Something has to give soon... it just keeps getting worse and worse. Trouble is, we don't have much chance until the midterm elections or unless enough Democrats start calling their Congressmen and raising hell for them to do something.

This is what really gets under my skin honestly. They sit & tell us (American citizens) they have to raise taxes to cover all the current programs in place then turn around & give billions away each year to other countries. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Maybe I miss the importance of giving our money away while we are in a really bad economic position. But the simple answer to their budget problem is them. Stop giving away money to countries who hate us, stop sending jobs overseas, stop cutting programs for education/ elderly & other medical applications. Start cutting out multi-million dollar vacations & multi-thousand dollar lunches for congress. There is so much fat to be trimmed in Washington it's flat out sickening & they refuse to admit or acknowledge it. They just expect to keep raising taxes & force us to pay for it while they give up nothing to help save this country.

It's far past time for people to start throwing this in their faces every single time they even think about raising taxes. I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of getting taxed out rear while Washington give up nothing.

You want the true definition of "epic fail"? The United States. The greatest nation with the greatest opportunities in history has become a failure, because somewhere, starting generations ago, the people have slowly let the government become their masters, instead of them masters of their government as intended by it's architects. With all of the bravery and all of the sacrifice of past generations, they still failed us, just as we are currently failing our children and grandchildren.

I'm still convinced these furloughs and layoffs are fabricated by the Obama himself. They aren't cutting a damn thing except for the planned increase in spending from last year. They are still spending more than they did last year! So exactly why are these jobs in jeopardy? Have they really increased federal jobs by that much since last year? I don't think so.

Truth. And whats sad is the younger generations are being groomed to accept this as how things HAVE to be done to work.

I'm honestly afraid in my lifetime we will see either our country get cut off & become a third world hell hole or a revolution. If I didn't have children I wouldn't be bothered as much by it but since I do it's disturbing. And the fact our own government is driving the conditions leading to it are even more disturbing.

It has long been a desire of many of those (especially Congress-critters) in the Democratic Party to take as much funding away from the military, law enforcement, and any other agency that is actually protecting American citizens so that they can fund their social programs. There thought is that it would be horrible to take money away from Medicare and Medicaid.

I'm thinking that there needs to be a change in the name for the Democratic Party. I think I will now start calling them the "Demonic Party," since they seem to have become the spawn of Satan. I'm sure Satan will gladly welcome them "into the fold."
