It's standard Putin. The guy is old school. Hell, they just busted a major spy ring back in 2010! That's 20 years after the wall came down. Expect nothing less from the former head of the KGB.

It's not just the old Cold War; how much talk has there been of us getting involved and going into Syria? Who has an important naval base on the coast of Syria? Probably just letting us know that they haven't fallen asleep on us.

When Putin brought em back from the death bed they started this up again. nothing new and the pilots have reported taking pics of each other in flight then mailing them to each other when they get back on the ground.
