I recently got a new shotgun and am wanting to pattern it with a few different rounds to see how it patterns and break it in. Is the plinking range the best range to do this? I think I remember reading the bench rest only allows slugs.

Thanks in advance.

The Sporting Clay Range is the first facility you come to when coming to the outdoor range. It is on the right side of the road and we are open every Sunday from 9 till 3. We also have a wobble trap and a 5-stand course that are both self-serve and open any time that the outdoor range is open. Also, we have a pattern-board next to the clubhouse which I always recommend you use when you get a new shotgun.

Thanks! I did not know about the pattern board.

That is exactly what I am looking for before busting some clays!

I assume you mean the building/garage next to the shotgun ranges? When I hear “clubhouse,” I envision the facility next to the small-bore and pistol ranges at the bottom of the hill.

Shotgun range, not the main clubhouse with the pool table and vending machines.

I remember being able to buy 50 rounds of 22lr for a dollar from that vending machine. A long time ago.
