depends on what you are reloading for. i cant buy 3/4oz 12ga. and even at 1oz i am reloading for just above 4 bucks a box. if all you shoot is a case a year then makes sense to buy. if you shoot a case a week it always makes sense to reload and buy in bulk. just ran the numbers and its 4.50 a box for 7/8 oz load. 16 grain of clays at 147 8lbs. 42 a bag of shot. 115 for 5000 cheddite primers and 100 for 5000 claybuster wads.
