Not one stinkin carbine?? Here I am looking for a nice .45 AR platform to copie and you guys give me nuthin!

Here's my "stinkin carbine". Apache Arms .45ACP project gun, it uses grease gun magazines, the last guy who had it put little covers over the hammer pin to keep it from walking out, ammazingly with ball ammo it goes bang everytime.

Here's a little progress of where my stainless Springfield GI model is as of now.

Used to look like this, bone stock.

Thanks to UncleMoneyBags for sandblasting the frame and slide.
I just put on a pair of VZ black/green micarta grips.
I installed the Smith & Alexander beavertail, an Ed Brown chainlink MSH, and a Cylinder and Slide 4.5lb trigger pull set.
As soon as I get some extra cash I'm gonna have Accurate-Iron gunkote the small parts a dark gray and install some Wilson Combat sights that I just got.

So whatcha think??
