nice gun burk. they went to the standard thumb piece in 66 and got rid of the diamond grips in 68. yours is a nice example of a niche gun.

I don't know if they made the 625-4 in 45LC or not. I've only seen a few and they were both 45ACP/45AR.

They made a 45LC version with a 5" barrel in a fairly limited run under a model 625-5. It was marked "Classic". I believe about 1000 were made in the mid 90s. By luck, I came across one last year and bought it before I knew the history of it.

this thread has only rekindled my want for a 45 acp revolver. i was looking at the 1917 model brazilian contract guns but i think i'll step up a couple hundred and get a 625 or a 25-2 or 'model of 1955' or...
