Anyone have one of these? What do you think about it compared to similarly priced pistols?

They sure are pretty

Looks like a Smith adaptation of the Sig 210 (I'd MUCH rather have the P210)

I don't disagree but the original 210's are a bit pricey. If Sig would follow up the reintroduction rumors of the 210 I would probably be pretty interested. I don't know if the Sig was inspiration for the Smith as the Smith started off as a model 52 in .38 wadcutter and was later changed to 9mm. Either way they are both pretty cool.

Yep, the new version of the mdl 52 .38 wadcutter. I am lucky enough to have a 52 - a truly historic piece used to win many competitions in the past. I've owned several P210's, also, which are very accurate. I wouldn't hesitate to get a 952.

Yep, I've got one with the 5 inch barrel. Very comparable to the X five only in a single stack. Fit and finish, trigger and accuracy are all top notch. The 952 is the PC version of the 39.

Shweet!!!

And IIRC, while I'm sure the P210 may have been in the designer's minds when making the 39 and subsequently the 52, it was not based off it. It's an adaptation of the Browning system, so in theory, it's based off the 1911 and Browning Hi Power as much as anything.
