Yayyyy, 2-6” for us. A couple of weeks late, need the moisture, why in a solid form? We will survive. Hay for the cattle. Blankets for the horses. And Wife has raised the heat to 70 so we should be warm.

Prayers for everyone! Remember to water your animals and get them something to stay safe.

“See” you on Friday afternoon when this also shall pass!

Hate to sound like a fuddy duddy, but when I was young school didn't close because of snow. Now, I'm watching the news this morning, and it seems every school in the state is closed and it hasn't even started snowing yet.
I hear you and was the same when i went to school can only remember a few times school closed due to snow and that was when it was to deep for the buses to push thru, but now days they figure in so many snow days for the year and here if they dont use them they go to 4 day school week at the end of year to make sure they get all their days in and keep everything on schedule for end of school year.

Our schools closed for snow in ‘71 and in ‘73. I grew up in Houston and gravel trucks were two guys in the back of a pickup. The whole area closed for days! No one knew how to drive and no equipment means full stop. Then, 100+ in the day? Open the windows (no a/c) and put up fans, school is open! Now school is optional no matter the weather and everyone gets a passing grade no matter who.

Tuttle didn’t close. My kids are at school right now while the snow is falling and getting thick.

Honestly I’m a little annoyed about it. Not because I’m afraid of road safety, more because we rarely get snow and I’d like my kids to be able to experience it instead of being locked up in a building
