I can imagine that those little sparrows are tough. I've seen them attack hawks & crows in the air- like Messerschmidts on a B-25! I saw one nearly beat another one to death just the other day. Grabbed 'im like a pitbull & shook the Hell out of that other little bird...for a few minutes straight.
