Yep, I have over a dozen. Chinese, Russian, Yugo, Romanian, Albanian... Didn't pay over $100.00 for any of them. Had lots of fun on the range back when 7.62 x 39 was also dirt cheap. Current pricing seems insane, but that's supply and demand for you.I bought them by the crate in the 80's. used to fill an old whiskey barrel up with them at the gun shows your choice $69.........they will never be worth what they are asking for them now to me
That's a score. Early Chinese with the blade cut are definitely sought after.Bayonet cut. The proof marks.
Picked up what was advertised as your average everyday Norinco SKS. It was listed as numbers matching and all the normal SKS ad stuff. Met up with the guy checked bore and did a quick numbers check all good. Got home and started really checking it out and I ended up with a kind of unique one. It's a Sino-Soviet letter prefix. Even has the V Cut for the bayonet instead of the U cut. Arsenal 26 stamp is barely struck on it.
I’m like you on this, was buying them “used” for $39 , buy 10 at a time and get free shipping, maybe Trump can bring back those days, open up , get box of 20rds for $1.98 again !!!!I bought them by the crate in the 80's. used to fill an old whiskey barrel up with them at the gun shows your choice $69.........they will never be worth what they are asking for them now to me

Valid point.Although I wish I could buy them as cheap as we all did back in the day, I don’t mind paying a little more today because they are well made and reliable. Now when you start getting into AK price range, I definitely start to question.
