I can't abide calling suicide 'gun violence.' I think it would coincide with something purposefully self inflicted - sort of like kicking yourself in the butt.

I don't disagree, but the FBI crime statics lump suicide by firearm along with gun violence. It's the anti gun way to pad the numbers and hope everybody is too lazy to look for the real truth.
