Built ton's of them when I thought it couldn't get any better... Found out that the aluminum beer bottles held up better. Thicker metal, so a cold pot/water won't sink the flames due to temperature. Super easy to do

I have made a few. My favorite and best performing one came from an aluminum spray bottle from the Dollar Tree.
It's right at 2" accross and 2" tall. Holds 1.5 ounces of alcohol. 3/4 of an ounce of alky will boil 16oz of water in about 3-1/2 minutes.

Fun to make and experiment with, but for I have gone to a canister stove.

I used some Coor's Light aluminum 16oz cans last time. Trimmed the funnel to fit down inside the base, left enough on the base to fold it over and plier crimp the two together. No more hvac tape, no rivets, no torsion joints to snap.

Not as cool as the above, But when I lost electricity Xmas in my apt in Little Rock, it helped tremendously! Apt got to 40 degrees two hours afetr the elect went out.
Tips:
Rubbing alcohol burns great
Candian Club burns fairly well
Smirnoff Watermelon Vodka is about par with Canadian Club (burning wise)
Jose Cuervo also burns ok but smells funky
Pepsi can torn in half and a papertowel wick
Thanks, MacGyver
