I've never shaved the moustache area. I had a full beard from 1972 to 1978. Had to shave it because of some A-hole bosses at Brown & Root while building the Sooner Power Plant. Got hired in the Ponca refinery in 1980 and had to shave for almost 40 years. Retired from the refinery and shaving in 2019. Don't plan on ever shaving again.

Well i quess all our ancestors were Terrorists then cause it wasnt until the 30/40's that men started to have clean shaved faces and well groomed hair to be fashionable it mainly started during WW1 due to soldiers needing to wear gas mask all earlier times it was considered a privilege when a man could afford a clean shave.

I consider beards and long hair to be symbols representing their wearer’s sympathetic sentiments related to the Theocratic Principles of Mohammedan Terrorists….. Beards should be clean shaven and hair length should conform to the current standards required by the USMC…..

My Viking, Scot and Irish ancestors all had beards.

One tiime while I was at the Blackwell Pizza Hut doing their buffet, I noticed that a little girl just kept looking at me over the booth. She was with her mom and grandma and we left at the same time. As we were walking to the cashier, Grandma said to me that the little kid, who couldn't have been any older than four or five, kept asking her if I was Santa Claus.

I thought that it was amusing.

Haaaa! I agree it is funny.

I had a kid walk by and say bye bye Santa in a cafe, my wife never forgets that one. Another kid down in Mexico kept calling me Mr. Wiskers, she got a big kick out of that too!

I meet your standards! Clean shaven and Marine corps hair length after visiting the barber from hell!
For the last 30+ years, I’ve had my haircuts at a ladies salon.
#1, I don’t mind being in a room full of beautiful women by myself with a litter pampering and some fun conversations.
#2, I’ve trained my hair to naturally be feathered to the back on the sides with some extra fullness behind the ear to effectively hide the hearing aids.
My hairdresser was booked solid, so saw a men’s barber shop open awhile back. Always a harly or two parked out front along with pickups.
What the heck, cruise coming up and I need a light trim.
Got in the chair noticing a Marine Corps flattop cut on the barber.
Gave him instructions on how I wanted it and why I cut it that way.
15 minutes later, I had more hair the first week of Army boot camp than I had leaving that barber shop. :angry3: Complete White sidewalls with both sides of the head almost shaved.
I paid him with no tip and comments that I would never darken his door ever again. Nor would anyone I knew looking for a place to get a haircut.
Over a month later, the hair on the sides has grown to about 3/8” long when it was almost an inch after a proper trim at the salon in years past.
