Feral hogs on the deer lease

I finished grinding some pig meat today and made it all ground with NO spices.
My wife loves the breakfast sausage I make from those wild swine.
She said she likes it much more than the deer sausage.

I must agree with her ..need some fat in the meat.
If a Big female in in your sights I would keep that meat the small ones (100lb) and big ones (300+) are the same tenderness.
More fat on the larger ones and easy to clean.

Shoot them and be happy. Shooting doesn't really bother most animals that much, after all they hear thunder often. It might startle them for a bit, but if there is food there they will always come back. How many here have dropped a deer and while gutting the one you shot another comes to see what's going on.

I have a video on my phone showing me shooting a doe using a suppressor while a buck was at the feeder. He only raised his head and went back to feeding.
