Hyvar will yes, glyphosate and 24D no, that's not how they work.
Glyphosate, 2 4 D and some others are contact killers, spray them wait 30 minutes to and hour to let the be absorbed by the plant and they will work. Notice what other chemicals are in the spray you are using, some chemicals in it to extend the effect could be ground killers. If it was just round up or glyphosate a day or 2 and go ahead a seed it.
When using a 2 4 D make note if it is a butyl or ester formula, be real careful with the butyl on hot days it will rise and drift cause real problems.
Every time you till that soil you’re just going to expose new seed from the seed bank and end up with weeds that you possibly don’t want.
