I dont trust officers on the law where it pertains to SBR AOW and Class III stuff...as a general rule cops are ignorant to the laws beacuse they are so extensive and confusing. Its hard enough to deal with the ones that are really common. My suggestion is to talk to Maj. Malfunction or a reputable Class III dealer.

The best thing he could do now is turn it over a Class #7 manufacturer and file SBR papers on it and pay the tax. and that may not even save his bacon as I think the papers would need to be approved prior to the work being done or started.
