Sad part is, if made fresh and the way it was developed, it would probably be a pretty good dog.. Maybe Chick-Fil-A should create one. Then you know it would be made right every time.

Here's what I did for the 4th...bought some Chi-Town dogs (extra large and the best you can find in Oklahoma found only at Kamp's Meat Market Nichols Hills), grilled them, put them in fresh baked "pretzel bread rolls" from Homeland with good melty cheese, mustard and raw onion..everyone in the house claimed best hot dog they've ever had. No need for Sonic's screw ups...make your own and they're way better!!

Can't guarantee the awesomeness if you use any other dog, in fact I'd be sad for you.
