Typically on divorce, personal injury, workers comp, and criminal, the consultation is free. Some business, tax and immigration lawyers charge an initial consultation fee.
The lawyer that handled our property issue told me 150 consult fee and 150-225 an hour to give us advice on a bit of a grey area in the SDA regarding my wife's eligibility to apply for her CCL.
Lol, just apply and see. It would be cheaper.
What a truly novel idea.
I like being informed and making the right decision but it truly WOULD be cheaper just to attempt it. It's more how to answer certain questions, honestly.
