when I was in Zimbabwe our Game Warden if you will call him that. They have a government official that rides along on every hunt in Zimbabwe. They do it to make sure everything stays legal. Anyways he had him a nice looking FAL. and of course it was full auto. anyways the guy had it on the back of the truck locked and loaded. My grandpa mentioned to him about it and asked about looking at it and maybe shooting it. After some words were exchanged with our PH. We were told to not look at that gun again or talk about it or the hunt was over.

Just an off the wall story but still that has been my closest experience to an African gun.

Cool story. I think I would have stayed quiet too.

As to a FAL in a SA/RA style I would be for it in my safe. It could keep my Uzi (Pretoria marked parts everywhere except the receiver) and my No.4 company!
