dlbleak - not really. The woodcraft store here has crap, and it high priced. Most of their wood has very little character to it. 
I end up buying almost all my stuff off ebay.
Theres also a guy that advertises on CL in OKC that sells some nice wood from time to time. Just search for "spalted" and if his ad is on there it'll bring it up.
