I know that taking pictures through a spotting scope is nothing new, but I thought I would try it out.

The spotting scope is a 25X-75X with a huge 110mm lens! Pictures were taken with my cell phone.

I have seen cell phone mounts that attach to spotting scopes on line, but don't want to pay for one since I can just as easily hold the phone up to the lens.

The thing about holding the phone up to the lens, is that everything moves in the opposite direction, making a hurry up picture kind of frustrating.

Anyways, I just wanted show a couple of pictures that I took the other evening just before dark.

All pictures were taken @ 250 yards.

A couple of pictures are a little blurry around the edge, and that is my fault because I could not hold my phone steady enough to get both lenses lined up at the same time.

The first picture and the picture with the squirrels show the "driveway alarm" that is positioned under the feed pan on the left. Everytime the alarm chimes, I go look out my reloading room window and see who stopped by for a late afternoon snack.

Lighting also plays a big part on picture quality, as well as a clean window! 😉
