Old eyes has made my preference switch to a .410 SxS. Though, I still prefer a rifle, when the leaves are gone.

I still shoot a Super 14" Contender in 410 and with Remington 3" 6's it will kill a squirrel or rabbit out to 30-35 yards quite easily.
I just realized squirrel season is open until 2/28/2025.

The 39 is such an amazing gun. If the target is anywhere near the sight line, the bullet just seems to drift itself in there. Can’t explain it any won’t try to!
