At $200 a pop, I'd buy two and put one away as a "parts queen."Yeah, the parts availability is the downside. I'll just shoot mine til it craps out, and hope for the best.

What holster(s) are you guys using?
A Star BM will fit just fine in a Sig 229 holster.
Howdy. I'm new on this board. I live in NW Oklahoma.
I recently bought a "hand select" Star BM from J&G Sales. The gun shows no holster wear at all; It may have been refinished. The bore is shiny. I have owned a number of pistols in different calibers, including Glocks, Walthers, Rugers and Kimbers. I do believe that this Star is my very favorite. I certainly shoot more accurately with it than any pistol I have shot. I particularly enjoy getting something of high quality at a bargain price and this purchase definitely fits the bill.
