I'm not citing specific examples because I specifically don't want to call out specific people or topics. Maybe it's possible that we can do some good without it.

There is an optimal amount of prejudice. It is protective when it causes you to avoid people of certain appearances under certain circumstances. It is bad when it causes you to close your mind to different thoughts and possibilities.

This forum has been overwhelmingly over-run with textbook examples of stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination.

Guys, I'm not talking down, or up, or any other direction to you all. I'm trying to be straight with you. This isn't about being a mod either. Can we not zoom out and take a look at ourselves for a bit? I care about you all, this forum, and the shooting/hunting community as a whole, and am sincerely concerned with some things going on here. As a group, what are we doing?

Uh,...okay! I guess the rest of us will try to not do, whatever it is, that you say we did, but have no idea, and can't mention, because it would hurt someone's feelers.....

I agree. Is it possible that we can do anything different here?

Maybe not, the old folks are set in theyre way, the young ones are trying to make a name for themselves, and the smart ones are trying to overload everyone with too many facts.
Some things would have to change, an acknowledgement of a problem, before anything different could be done.... ;)
Good Luck

I'm not sure "optimal" is the best description, but I understand what you mean. Stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination have evolved in humans for good reason. But that doesn't excuse what's going on here.

I'm assuming I can thank you for the acknowledgment. ;)

Can we agree that certain cultures or groups of people are worthy of less respect and more caution because they have dangerous ideas? The Nazi's would be one example.

So what is going on here? Seriously, is there a single subject that you could be a little more specific on?
