This Stern Defense conversion runs like a champ. There are plenty of videos on Youtube demonstrating how great this kit runs. It ran flawless for me. I have moved on to a dedicated PCC so I am selling this kit. It comes with everything you need to run 9MM Glock mags through your AR pistol lower. All of the parts are Stern Defense to eliminate any compatibility issues. The included parts are:
- Mag-AD9 magwell adapter
- Magwell flare
- Complete upper receiver with 8" handguard and 6" barrel with hex muzzle device
- Stern H2S trigger with anti-walk pins
- Small parts kit including bolt parts replacement kit and ejector parts replacement kit. I ran this setup in a few competitions so I wanted spare parts just in case but never needed them
- Additional 12" handguard, proprietary barrel nut wrench and barrel shims. I purchased these parts because I was considering building another 16" upper because some competitions wouldn't let me run a brace on a PCC. I purchased everything but the barrel. I ended up buying a different 16" PCC and have used that instead of this which is the only reason I have decide to sell this. My new PCC was finicky, way more than this kit ever was, so I hung on to this kit as a back up but I think I've finally got all the issues ironed out. I ran an H3 buffer with this but I think Stern recommends running an even heavier buffer. I didn't have any issues. This kit was 100% reliable for me.
