Yea nothing else with them. Just a bunch of meat

We didn't have but just a few side dishes left after Thanksgiving Day. I usually enjoy grazing on left overs for a week or so and taking it for lunch. Expected 29 people RSVP'd, 48 showed up. So much for RSVP. Last year cooked for 45 people and only 27 showed. I froze meat left over and was eating it in the new year. The joy of tolerating in-laws.

You’re lucky, the wife and I haven’t been invited to a Thanksgiving or Christmas meal in over ten years, we’ve always had the meals at our house but with age and arthritis we’re cutting back.

I love leftovers from holidays because I live on bologna and cheese sammiches during the year.
