Stupid jeep owners...

I like my TJ, but I LOVE my LX470. It's called the bougiecruiser.



Well my wife has been driving it for the last month or so and gets compliments constantly. Then today she is behind a JKU in a drive though line and sees the person hand the cashier something and then they drove off. My wife gets to the window and the cashier hands my wife a duck and said that the person in the jeep asked her to hand my wife the duck and tell her that she has been "ducked". GAHHH. Stupid jeepers with their stupid ducks playing their stupid silly playful friendly jokes.

Toyotas don't duck around!

I have owned Jeeps since 1977. 11 differing CJs, TJs. Never owned a YJ. Never did or know about the Duck Stuff, but it makes people smile I guess and that ain’t a bad thing! We have found a few on ours over the years. Gave me to the grandkids and my own two daughters when they were young.

Here is my TJs. The red one has its “trailer” tires on it as it wears 42” tires on the trail.

Pull them out a of a pot hole at the mall parking lot? That's about what 99% of Jeeps and other SUV's see for "extreme" terrain lol.

Mom gives out ducks all the time. She keeps a bag of them in her jeep. She gets excited when she gets one. She’s 81 though. Anything that keeps her happy and moving along is a good thing to me.

I'm amazed they can be that friendly considering how self centered most are when driving their Jeep down the road.

I appreciate jeeps. Like ai said I still have a stock 03 TJ 5 speed with 105K on the clock. It's a back up vehicle for the family and my 12 year old says she wants it when she turns 16. I have had a YJ, 2 TJs, 2 XJs, and a ZJ. I've also had a 4 runner with the 3.0 grenade engine. I have always wanted an 80 series, but a few years ago they sky rocketed in value. 100 series Toyotas are the same way, but you can still get lucky sometimes and find the LX or GX 470s that were soccer mom cars for reasonable prices. I found my one family owned LX with over 9K in recent key maintenance for a price I couldn't pass on. I'm sure I could do jeeps again in the future... But with the Lexus I won't ever need to.
