So you get a sonic crack, big deal. It won't be hollywood quiet, but it will be MUCH quieter than it was unsuppressed.

I shoot supersonic 9mm through my SBR sometimes. Yeah you get the crack, but I can still shoot it without muffs and be comfortable.

I was wanting to do the same thing. I have that HK 300 and wanting to suppress it, so I called Gemtech and asked them if my .22 Outback would hold up to it. They said no. It was for .22 LR only. The guy said if I want a good one to run with .22 mag then I should look at the Gemtech M4-02. It is for the 223, and they have tested it with the .22 mag and it took a lot of the sound out of it.
