It was 25 degrees this morning and snowing. Wife and I are home.
We were watching Laramie and Jonesy and Jess were talking about Mulligan stew.

I was thinking those eggs and homemade biscuits and gravy this morning need a chaser for a late lunch.
I got a deer roast out of the freezer and looked up what Mulligan stew is.
Just Stew.

I made stew.
It was tasty.

Wagon Train came on later.
Now it is evening and wife said the part where the lady gave the young boy a bowl of oatmeal cookies makes her want oatmeal cookies.

Last batch just came out of the oven resting on a cooking stone as I type.

Darn those T.V shows influencing our minds.
Or are they influencing our stomachs.

I'm dow here in Houston. They have a OTA channel called Quest. They have played Modern Marvels food episodes several times today. Right now I'm so jonesing for cupcakes, lollipops and tootsie rolls ... Thank goodness I got good willpower to keep the diabetes monster under control!

Those old westerns bring back the youth in you! I remember as a boy I would listen to Gene Autry sing and I'd climb up an old oak tree where I had a tree house and would swing back and forth singing, "I'm Back In The saddle again" and the entire tree would sway. I'm lucky it didn't break and injure me cause I had it rockin'.
