When I renewed mine, I went in made an appointment went and ran a couple errands and came back. It was right around lunch time. They did give me a paper and didn’t ghetto the actual card for about 2 weeks in the mail. This was for a regular DL, not areal ID

When I did my real ID, it took maybe 15 minutes. I left the tag office with a paper license and received my physical license card about two weeks later.

In Tulsa, go to the Barnes agency. Their attitude is: What can we do to get your matter handled and you on your way. Other agencies I have experience with has the attitude of how can we screw you up so that you will have to come back.

I guess that's another advantage to living in Mayberry, USA. Hell, I've known the kid that runs our local tag agent all her life. Her uncle and I were best friends all through school. I've never had to wait for a DL or car tag renewal. You poor big city blokes.
In Ponca City at the old shopping center on north 14th street it is just a walk in, and getter done.
