TAPS at 3:00 Monday

I just watched a piece on national news about an effort to have bugler across the nation, to play Taps at 3:00 tomorrow. My wife showed me that an effort to recruit folks in area neighborhoods to join in.

I'm hoping that there will be many that will do this.

Way back when I was in high school, in Muskogee, I had the honor of playing taps for a few veterans gatherings. There was one large event at the Western Hill Lodge where two of us played, and I can still see all those grown men with tears in their eyes. That was one of my favorite memories. Wish I could join in tomorrow, but I will be listening.
