I also recommend the Surefire weaponlight systems.
They are pricey but tough and bright.
If you have a model with a bayonet lug, you might look for something else.
I got the Surefire designed specifically to hang low, but it still scraped the lug.
I took it off and installed it on 500.

That's the very reason I didnt buy the one I linked. I didn't wanna grind my lug off. Not that I'll be putting a bayonet on the end of my 590 anytime soon, but still... :rolleyes2

I have the Surefire on my Mossy 500. It is designed to withstand the recoil punishment the shotgun will give it. I have the 6 volt version with the high output bulb. Works very well.
