What language? It’s insane how many are being used.
Back in the [college] day I had learned to code in three languages (BASIC, COBOL, & FORTRAN) which soon became obsolete as other languages came on line. My belief is that learning to code these days is a case of continuous upgrading just to stay relevant. For most, it's no longer worth the effort being that 'coding AI' now exists.

These layoffs are just part of the return to normal. All these tech companies hired hundreds of people due to the massive tech demand during covid and now it’s over. There is no more huge demand and companies don’t need all those employees so back to their normal workforce they go. Same with hospitals, all those people being laid off are a result of hospitals spending crazy amounts of money during covid and are in debt. They were banking on the China virus to last forever.
🤣 Normal, normal is extinct. No doubt they'll be removing it from print and replacing it with something more fitting.

Medical coding is different than (but related to) tech coding. Each diagnosis and treatment, procedure, drug, equipment is assigned a code, this code is used for billing. The code is used for standardisation and for data gathering and is international. Say you wanted to look up outcomes of a procedure you could search available documentation by the code.

This application does make me wonder as coding is primarily used for billing, meaning the invaded could have a different cost structure, or dropped from insurance all together for some procedures. Or it is just being used for data gathering on the unvaxxed, who are a small control group in the largest medical experiment in history. I think that the general public do not really understand that all medicine is experimental, the process of gathering data and looming at new variables never ends.

Cause those are the high performing workers.

We still keep developers for application maintenance , application security analysts and as SME's , QA/ QC So much of that H1B coding has to be put into the rework bucket on any given project , we still use them because well they work cheap not because they are better.
