Texas vs. WVU thread

Our defense is not good. We've got one player on that side that is playing good football and that is CB Quandre Diggs. Our other all world CB Byndom is getting torched every week, our LB'ers apparently live on a different planet that doesn't teach tackling or common sense and our DL are basically bowling pins. It's tough to watch especially with the expectations coming in to the season.

The real surprise is the progression of David Ash, IMO.

Looking forward to next week.

Come on man Jeffcoat and Okafor are the 2 best in the Country.

Jeffcoat flashes greatness but if you notice all those big running plays vs OSU and vs WVU came to his side with him getting pushed backward one on one by the other teams left tackle.

Okafor had a good enough game last night but he disappears for games.

Both are playing below expectations IMO.

Defense is still pretty young. I didn't mind the loss. I liked seeing the progression of the team especially on offense. Way better than the past 2 years, and Geno Smith and WV is pretty damn good. Their lack of D is gonna get them in trouble at least once in the big 12 this season tho.

Okafor and Jeffcoat are definitely NFL caliber DE's but they need more help.
