LOL, I gave up on sarcasm online a long time ago. Your average moron cannot detect it, no matter how blatant. I'd get constant comments from butthurt cry babies that took any and all comments as 100% literal. I tried making the sarcasm so thick that even a Biden voter could detect it to no avail. I rarely comment on anything now, since I'm almost incapable of saying anything without being a complete *******.

Probably so, but not all information in old threads is relevant. Just because an old thread speaks of gasoline at a price under $2.00 doesn't mean that the new guy that reads the thread after it has been revived is going to be able to find it at that price.
It is fine to read the old posts and learn from them, but it's another thing to "revive" one and provide wrong information to others.
