The sheriff's office was just about ready to let Roberts go on his personal recognizance when he threatened to drive his car while sitting upside down in his car. They were afraid that too many people would get hurt since Roberts would have a "Big Crack Up".

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has passed this further bit of information: Raymond Stanley Roberts was indeed holding the drugs in question because a highly trained "crack sniffing" drug dog was brought in to varify their suspicions and so that the arrest could be made.

couldnt that be any dog? Most dogs like to sniff crack

I was told that he found those drugs on the ground in the alley behind the CRACKer barrel restaurant.
