This is the end of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I gave it a 9, this was an excellent end movie. I'm not a big fan of dubbed or subtitled movies but this series is an exception. It's also kind of fun to turn on the English subtitles on the English Dubbed version and see the differences. I understand there is now a box set out that has the entire mini-series, not just the parts that were packaged as the three movies. It's supposed to contain about 20-30% more movie than the three individual movies.

To whomever it was that commented to my original critique of the American version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, that they also like the original Swedish version , I thank you.

The Swedish versions are superb. Gritty and captivating.

In the extended versions available on Amazon, run time is 2 hours longer than the first versions released in the US.

I think the Swedish version is better than the american remake.

I remember myself and two friends staying up all night on a schoolnight back at SWOSU watching the series. My wife didn't want to watch after the anal rape scene though. Lisbeth got her revenge.

I too think the Swedish versions are the best....I have watched the 3 Swedish movies and read the 3 books......as usual the books are better than the movies....

Netflix has the extended editions available for streaming.

I seen the English version (UK) and it was better then the US version.
Now I will have to hunt down the Swedish version.
