I already have a couple 380's and wasn't even considering a G42, but I found a deal and bought it. I actually like it more than I expected, and I even carried it for the first time last Sunday. It is so light that you almost forget about it.
Yes, I wish it was a single stack 9, but it is what it is. For the record, my main carry gun is a G36, but I also carry a G26 occasionally.
I'll stick with my 19. I can't understand why anyone would want this. I would just carry my wife's Walther Pk .380 if I wanted a single stack handgun. Sounds like a big waste of time and resources from glock. They could have developed the 9 single stack and made a killing.
