I sent a version of this to the governor and my rep and senator, feel free to copy if you want.

Dear Governor Stitt,

I know that you have been very pro Constitution, and that you signed the Constitutional Carry bill, and I want you to know that I am deeply grateful for that.

But with the current climate and assault on not only the right to bear arms, but also free speech, religious liberty, personal privacy, and a myriad of other issues being assaulted by the left, I feel like more needs to be done to prevent Federal intrusion into the affairs of Oklahoma and its citizens.

I recently became aware of a move by the Mississippi legislature to establish a Second Amendment Sanctuary multi-state compact that would offer protection from federal overreach in this area and establish a large area where the citizens of this country could continue to live with their rights intact.

I and my household are 100% for this. It appears that the big money push from several socialists are trying to undermine our very nation and this would certainly curtail if not eliminate this subverted attack against our freedoms and rights. I strongly encourage you to look into and, if it is in the best interest of our state, to sign on as a member state.

I wonder how many people said that in October 1859. It is interesting when it's the left it is civil protest when it is the conservatives it is political posturing. I believe the time for posturing is over. It ended 1/20/20.

I just read through the entire bill. It sounds as if it will protect us from ALL anti gun “laws” on the federal level. Then when I got to the end it made it sound as if it didn’t do that. It is meaningless if it doesn’t 100% protect the 2A. That means ZERO restrictions. Sadly many so called patriots don’t agree with that. They claim they support the 2A and constitution and then say stuff like “felons shouldn’t have the right to carry a gun”. Really? Where does it say that in the constitution?? ALL citizens have the right to own and carry whatever they choose. No one should be able to tell any of us what we can or can’t own or carry. If we don’t stand up we WILL lose ALL of our freedoms. That is a fact. Hopefully something like this can take hold and restore this nation. Or at least restore the south. I say we secede. We could easily make it on our own. We have tons of industry throughout the region. But as I’ve said before, this bill sounds great but doesn’t mean squat if no one is willing to fight to defend it. Sadly no one is willing to do that for the constitution so I see no reason they would for this. It’s just words on paper. Just like the bill of rights. The main reason our country is in the shape it’s in is because of our cowardice and complacency.
