Didn't read the whole report, but retailers that are discounting guns had them marked up too high in the first place. Demand for AR-15s is still there, but people won't pay stupid prices. This may change right before Christmas. I suspect that there will be a surplus of used guns. Ammo will be pricey.

Prices have come down. I've see guns all around town for as little as $750 new, and $550 for a Carbon-15 that was used. People are still holding onto the fact that they might make some money off someone that doesn't realize the scare is over. The only thing in shortage right now is ammo. And slowly, that is becoming more available. Just as always, the scare is over.

Walmart in Stillwater has in the case, Colt LE6920, LE6920 SOCOM, LE6920 MagPul, Sig M400, Sig 556. All at normal pricing.

God help you if you're looking for 22LR CCI Mini-Mags though.

Think they had a Sig in there last time I was there. They had quite a bit of 9mm last week on Thursday maybe?
