I would take the 6.5Grendel before the 6.8 or .308, and have. Great bc bullets for the long range shots with very good performance and low recoil. 6.5 Creedmoor isn’t the new “hotness”, it’s here to stay and for a reason.
If building for shtf, .308 all day/all the way. I’m keeping an eye on the Ruger SFAR for this reason, but 6.5’s have their place for hunting/carrying/recoil.

Sfars are junk, at this time. No comment on 6.5 stuff, don't run it, no interest
